Project Manager
Michael Friebe has been involved in diagnostic imaging + image guided therapeutic products and services + other related Medical Technology ventures, as founder/innovator/CEO + investor. He currently is a Board Member of several R&D companies and an investment partner of a MedTec startup-fund. Dr. Friebe is a senior member of IEEE, affiliated professor at Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) at TUM, Adjunct full Professor at QUT (Brisbane), and a university Professor at AGH (Krakow)
Katarzyna Heryan, mgr inż.
Project Team Leader
Katarzyna Heryan (Bugajska) currently works at the Department of Measurement and Electronics, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Katarzyna does research in Medical Image Processing and Analysis, Neuroeconomics, Data Mining and Software Engineering. Their current project is ‘System for preoperative planning and intraoperative support for partial nephrectomy.
Dominik Rzepka, PhD
SENIOR MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER
Dominik Rzepka is a senior machine learning engineer and researcher working for both academia and industry. He received his PhD from AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow researching digital signal processing methods for event-based sampling. His experience includes developing algorithms of data processing for low power embedded systems, wiress communication, automated visual industrial inspection and medical diagnostic systems. In the Vibronav Project he is responsible for supervising DSP and machine learning works, as well as for the development of a signal acquisition system.
Katharina Steeg, PhD student
Clinical Expert
Katharina Steeg, completed her Master’s focusing on Biomedicine and is now pursuing her PhD in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital Giessen. As a Clinical Expert for the Vibronav Project, she tests and refines our prototype, ensuring it meets the highest standards for usability and clinical effectiveness. Additionally, she specializes in analyzing audio signals and contributes significantly to the machine learning aspects of our project.
Oğuzhan Berke Özdil
Software Developer & BSc Computer Scıence Student
Oğuzhan Berke Özdil is a senior Computer Science student at AGH Science and Technology University. He has extensive knowledge and experience in NopCommerce development. Currently, he is actively involved in Python and Java development roles, developing robotic automation programs, and is also experienced in developing web pages and providing support in experiments. Oğuzhan, who has deep knowledge in reverse engineering and software development, has gained proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C# languages.
Hamza Oran
BSc Electrical & Electronics Engineer
Hamza Oran is a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a BSc. Throughout his education, he specialized in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and integrated circuit design. Currently, he is honing his skills in image processing and machine learning. As an intern on the Vibronav project, he is involved in Python development tasks and contributes to the production of phantoms used in experiments.
Witold Serwatka
AI Engıneer
Witold Serwatka is an AI Engineer and Deep Learning Enthusiast with experience in Software Development and Cloud Services. He has developed automation tools in Python, CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, and AI models in scikit-learn and PyTorch. Witold is also active in the research domain, publishing papers related to his work on the intersection of AI and medicine.
Maksym Bondar
BSc Computer Scıencıst Student
Maksym Bondar, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania (2022-2025). Before embarking on this journey, Maksym pursued Mathematics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Ukraine (2021-2023). With a keen interest in programming and tackling intricate mathematical challenges, Maksym specializes in Artificial Intelligence Systems and Web Development. Always eager to explore new horizons, Maksym is enthusiastic about connecting with others and fostering innovation together.
